Selecting the perfect cocktail for your colleagues, friends or guests can be a very daunting task, after all, how can you possibly know what everyone likes to drink? Here are a few tips to help you on your way:

Choose cocktails that will complement the mood or theme for the event. Great cocktails set the scene and create an infectious, fun atmosphere for the exclusive enjoyment of all who attend. You can choose these either by the name of the cocktail or sometimes by ingredients that are in them. A cocktail such as a piña colada will conjure up images of lying on the beach on some tropical island, whereas any cocktail that has the sweet nectar of Cointreau liqueur in it may leave its holder entranced by its subtle, seductive nature.

Some Final Cocktail Selection Tips

If you have gone through the menu and still can’t choose, then try:

Asking a few of those who will be in attendance what they would like, or what they normally drink and then select cocktails on the menu with those ingredients in them.

If that fails, just pick what you like! If your guests are people that you enjoy spending your time with, and are likeminded, there’s a good chance you will have similarities in the cocktails that you love too.
